Mother of the seven seas and the whole world's oasis
here we put you at your rest
with oceans of appraisal
every leaf you ever turned
was painted and wantingly written
with a painter's keen colour maze
and a writer's soulful mitten.
dreamlike heaven followed you close,
You lived alone and in honour
you lived and you loved whoever you chose
Now the wings of the wind take over

I really do appreciate your comments because your own poems are so soft and kind and almost always with a slight touch of sadness. Thank you very much Tina

Elegant and very moving, sort of uplifting in a sad way.

This is serene, like an emotional oasis.
Love it

It is about my late mother and the day her ashes were strewn in the sea I read this poem out loud for her. It was a very moving experience. Thank you very much for you comment Dan. I'm glad you liked it and I really appreciate you taking the time to read and comment.

It gives a sense of pathos. Like classical music, it helps you relate to something greater than yourself.
I think I will now delve deeper into the rabbithole of Pia's works :)

Oh dear. Some of it is really styoopid- I should have deleted it ages ago so don't delve to deep Dan but thanks anyway for the attention. Hope you find something worth thinking about
