As a cog in the machine.
Look around you!
What have you achieved?
Worn down paths,
to be rebuilt
after the war.
Who made the crucial decision?
Getting by on kindness.
A superfluous cog
A burden
Perfection, an allegory
for bad taste.
Ironically!
Crisis eroding the hope
of redemption.

Entire cities to be re-built after the war, but I suppose making a new path is a healthy start. We are all made up of sheep and shepherds and can only do what we can do, and keep turning out own little bit of cog. Thought provoking and interesting, thanks Pia.

hi Sooz- well you have grasped the main theme, thanks. But it all started out on contemplating what is consumerism and what is work as who are the cogs in the machinery? Well all a bit too profound so it changed a lot on the way and I may be able to write something more comprehendable at a later stage. Who knows? probably not- ha ha
