They're all smiles,
But they know whats inside,
But they welcome you,
With arms open wide.
I know they don't really care,
They all just smile,
And ruffle your hair,
they say the pain will go in a while.
They say Mummy is sleeping,
And she's watching me,
And behind a cloud she is peeping,
Why does'nt she want me?
I'll never see her,
Until I sleep too,
Why is she hiding?
Mummy I miss you.

Good one. I like the way you captured the inability of adults to understand the feelings and situation of the girl. Shows that sometimes children need something different from what the adults think they should offer. Well done, I enjoyed it.

My hunch is that she misses you too but wants you to keep going down here and have everything that you can have here and then in time, a long time, she looks forward to meeting up with you again, but there's no hurry because she's not hiding. Just my hunch.
