The Old Oak Tree.

Several years ago,
This tree was covered in snow,
Its branches so mighty and strong,
Creatures admiring it all day long.

Its beauty is truly unbelievable,
Its glory unmistakable,
Your so old and wise,
you took the younger ones by suprise.

If you think back to decades ago,
Soldiers in armour worshiped you,so,
Children had years of fun with you,
The taller you got the wiser you grew.

They say plants are alive too,
Can you talk?I wish I knew,
So old tree so mighty and wise,
You really did take me by surprise.
