Why have I got itchy fingers?
I've lost my I-pod I'm so sad.
I've nothing left, the feeling lingers,
I can't communicate, that's bad.
Oh yes you can if you really want to.
There's a phone that lets you ring!
It's got no texto, web or twitter,
Get one quick get on the wing!
Get one these and you can TALK!
No need to tweet or text, the trend.
If you can write or make a call
You'll make yourself another friend.
For there are people living here
Who really do not want to hear
The tone of SMS just come
Call and I will lend an ear!
So people start to write again
By post and not by twitter,
And try to talk as was before
If not you're just a quitter.

I liked this jay. Just a wee typo in stanza three...should be 'Get one of these', I think;-)
What did happen to the good old 'dog and bone' and, as you say, the good old handwritten letter?
