Flower Power
Well, I don't sympathise with the weed
Looking pretty, huh! indeed
Maybe buttercups and the daisy
But they drive the gardener's crazy
They should just stay in a field
No gardener's there, with hoes to wield
And clusters of weeds, my how they crush
It's painful, when I'm next to a bush
Most of us flowers, are quite fragile
Weeds are tough, they're so agile
And some of our species, if they're tall
Just takes a slight wind, and they fall
So understand, it's to be expected
We are the one's to be protected
And besides, we give much pleasure
People, pick us at their leisure
Still, I suppose, I'll give into your plight
As long as you don't get too much height
After all, it's not you they want to see
No people only, want to see me
Very often you cover my face
Promise, you'll give me some more space?.
