We stand before a new born day
on blistered feet
we prance and play
lucky ducky’s in a pond
upon a magic "water-wand"
we slip away and loose our bond
'tween bone dry land we can’t survive
amongst the fish we come alive
to poems written on the lips
of loved ones drowned in sunken ships
who never really had a chance
to love and dream and sing and dance
