saga

In the wind,
whispers of your conversation
drift across the scent of coffee brewing
while strands of wool
weave your heart into mine...
your smile
long ago..
the wind taking my breath away
when i saw you fall into my eyes
upon a wind swept lava field ;
a dream found its own footsteps;
like
a rhythym that fell into a snowstorm
a saga waking into into iits own reality.

I get and can identify with
I get and can identify with every line of this.Sometimes poetry makes me think too hard to get the meaning, and I scratch my head until a little pile of sawdust builds up on my desk.
Short, sweet, simple beautiful, and one letter too long to be perfect (iits).
Beautiful writing. My Favourite line is:
whispers of your conversation
drift across the scent of coffee brewing (because it does, both real time and on playback, doesn't it?)
Lovely.
