LOSS

from the ABC set LIFE

I lit the red candles, and closed the windows to the night.

The rain poured its tantalizing song over our secret dreams.

I clung to you, shipwreck, clutching the sand of your shore with despair.

°

I climb the mountain. My heart weary with regrets and sorrows.

My last journey before opening the gates to Eternity.

The moon bestows its unearthly light over my bending shoulders.

°

I feel your loss. Your hands touching my vulnerability.

I'm crossing the bridge of sorrow, that leads to your golden eyes;

plunging myself in your warm waters of tears, diving for love.

°

I let my hair loose. Ravishing black silk, perfumed with musk.

Black feathers brushing your skin, sweeping your gloom into oblivion.

I sip from your lips, your desires, making them true with my hands.
