MIRRORS

from the ABC set LIFE

Sleeping, the lady awaits,

the prince that comes with wakening kiss.

He sought her

rambling in the woods,

and found her not.

Oh, the longing !

So anxiously the heart beats

Reminding him of her wanton lips.

°

The boat floats languidly.

The current disturbs my thoughts.

Fresh water lingering on my fingers.

I lick the drops.

I wander my eyes upon you,

lithe body relaxing,

nonchalantly...

Mouth open to my tantalizing kiss.

°

My mind, my mirror.

My face, my experience.

Wrinkles, like paths to inner secrets.

Dimples, like cliffs to occult wonders.

I slip my hand

over the ivory skin,

that closes around my conscience like a sheath.

The piercing blade of reality.

°

Anxious is my heart.

Life full of trouble.

Distress I meet in every corner.

I silently bow my head to destiny.

Sorrow cleaves to my eyes,

tears that can't be hold,

humidifying my dreams of freedom.

Starting the journey, I spread my wings.
