A kiss from the mother, be she "single" or "wife".
A kiss for the dying, a kiss born of death
A kiss that devours your very last breath.
A kiss between lovers, a kiss born of lust
Tongue upon tongue as they probe and they thrust.
A kiss from a pop star, borne up by the crowd
An ego that's pumping, big headed and loud.
A kiss for a loved one that's borne on a prayer
In hope of protection whilst out of their care.
A kiss for a friendship, borne out by the years
Of good times and bad times, of laughter & tears.
A kiss for the soulmate who saw you reborn
Who brought to your darkness a glorious dawn.
A kiss for its own sake, its born out of nought
A carefree expression, no reason, no thought.
And last...
A kiss from faithless Judas, borne with dignity
Thus two deaths were brokered, in Gethsemane.
