Raining again.
At my Aunts house,
Nothing much to do;
So one by one
My cousins and I
Sneaked off,
Wouldn't you?
We hadn’t been gone
For terribly long
When the door
Burst open wide.
She bore down on us
With a vinegar grin
In one mighty stride.
We were floating paper boats in the bidet,
Launching paper boats in the loo,
Sailing paper boats in the overflowing sink
And in the bathtub too.
Toothpaste paintings on the mirror,
Lipstick masterpiece on the tiles,
Shaving foam beards
In a mask of horror,
At her most peculiar smile.
Raining again.
At my Aunts house,
Plenty now to do,
All together
My cousins and I,
Scrubbing down the day
Of the swamp we’d made
And the pink graffiti too.

Ha-ha, very good! Enjoyed; everyone loves a kids poem especially the kids, which is why it's a great way to teach them to express and learn, well done!

Enjoyed this lenchen! Fun and mischievious! Reminded me of a favourite kids' poem - Sam's Sandwich (can't remember the author). Good work!

Thanks Bob, Even with my Kids' voracious appetite for reading when younger, I haven't come across that one, will look it up :-)
I would love to produce something as good and vivid as this:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Little-Boat-Kathy-Henderson/dp/0744552532
Which I heartily recommend to any parent of small children, the sheer delight in reading it out loud to my younger son was replaced as wonder when he started to read it for himself at the age of 20 months (Hyperlexia)
Thanks once again, atb L
