swipes lots of pasta
and licks off all the tuna

cuddled up on my lap
it's rather theraputic
to stroke you while you nap

I love your kisses in the night
but I'm feeling rather tired
and wish you'd go to sleep !!

A simple and endearing poem - especially for cat owners.
To be picky, I found the line 'swipes lots of pasta' a little clumsy rhythmically and 'swipes' is a word I thought was out of place.
Otherwise, it's a refreshingly simple and unpretentious poem.
