Sometimes, as if by magic
everything goes just right
You’re with someone who makes you happy
and you don’t want to say good night
Everything seems perfect
your dreams are coming true
Fate is smiling on you
and on all the things you do
You know it may not last
So you savour every second
Grateful for your good fortune
on which you hadn’t reckoned
In a world with so much sorrow
You’re blessed with a quiet joy
Everything seems golden
You’re a happy, wide-eyed boy.
Wide-eyed with the beauty
With the magic, with the love
Happy to say thank you
For the blessings from above.

Thanks Pia!

To tell you the truth I was thinking of deleting it because it really was meant as a thank you and I felt it had done its job.

Having spent quite a lot of time in the East I have noticed that the happiest people are those who are greatful.

In the West we seem to need reasons to be cheerful. In the East they seem to need reasons not to be.
