Pass...#2

Pass...#2
Within such spaced time,
placed in paced, precious, pause...
thought lingers...
Senses dwelled...took rest...
unaware, separate of a piece,
Now moved, stir to awake.
Words between, beneath unspoken truths,
reach eye's thoughts,
mirrored in hazel light turned crystal blue.
Alive,
with right's passage, bare...
emptiness given to full...
enfolding...opens...
aware,
day's light breaks moment's tolled.
Pass...
then take flight,
back from space in time, paced...
and forward turn, again.
There, reflect...
All, slow in motion,
stays in second's space...
lived in depths...
unbound...within ...
beyond mind's expansive plain.

I read this as a gentle
I read this as a gentle exhortation to slow down and make space for contemplation: to find a deeper dimension to life and dwell in the senses before passing on and switching back into life's urgent pace in a more mindful way.

This is beautiful, Marcia..
This is beautiful, Marcia...couldn't agree more with your philosophy on poetry. It is indeed a work of art, as tangible, and malleable as a painting, or a piece of sculpture. Wonderful work
