If love was an Oscar,

If love was the Bible,
Then we'd be lost in sin.
If love was a fire,
Then we'd lose our spark.
If love is light,
Then why are we lost in the dark?
If love is right,
Then why is everything so wrong?
If love is a sport,
Then we're not playing as a team.
If love is an ocean,
Then me and you are just a stream.
If love is in the air,
Then why aren't you here?
