(chorus)
When the Armageddon's dark and dread
A lot of weak are to weep and moan
You must possess the fighting spirit, lift your' head
Only the strong will continue, do you have it in you?
Come, we've got a journey to go
(Verse One)
The victory's found in truth
Like innocence found in youth
Self-defeat's the only dispute
Spread the message in the booth
Stand up and fight those lies
Sick and tired of those who wear ties
Scrutinized, by those electric eyes
The truth must and will prevail
Democracy will not and cannot fail
Speak the truth, you'll end up in jail
(chorus)
When the Armageddon's dark and dread
A lot of weak are to weep and moan
You must possess the fighting spirit, lift your' head
Only the strong will continue, do you have it in you?
Come, we've got a journey to go
(Verse Two)
Walk through the valley of the shadow and death
New York to Cali, they all demand money, power and respect
Life's like a tape recorder and you can't press eject
The truth is loosing, soon it'll be all evil and nobody left
The streets will be full of rapists, war criminals and petty theft
(chorus)
When the Armageddon's dark and dread
A lot of weak are to weep and moan
You must possess the fighting spirit, lift your' head
Only the strong will continue, do you have it in you?
Come, we've got a journey to go
(Verse Three)
Man cannot live forever
But never say never
Everyone wants better
Just be a go getter
And always be clever
In every endeavour
Drastic times call for drastic measure
No time for pass time pleasure
War on the streets is growin'
Anarchy on the land of treasure
Government CIA, workin' for paper
Kills anybody who becomes bigger
Lockin' away every known strong nigger
I tell them, beleive in every skin
No matter what colour it is
It's a sin to hate, discriminate
I'm tired of all this shit, it's not fate
It's the way we eat off the plate
We choose what we like and fuck the rest
This world never loved the best
Ends up peelin' a cap in their chest

I'm amazed this hasn't got any comments Pinda. But then I only just discovered it myself. It is a really brilliant rap. So packed with good intentions and looking at things very realistically. It sure is a struggle that is going on and I am with you: goodness will prevail. But please we must take the weak with us- they also have a place. We aren't all strong enough. But yes if we pull the load together we will get far. I am so glad to know that you actually have such a strong voice and that you are able to use it in your daily work and not only on a narrow basis. Keep on truckin' Pinda-keep on with the fantastic work. I must read some more of yours. I have neglected you for a while. So sorry.
