Unless the seed dies
It remains alone, as a seed.
Nothing new emerges.
Until the seed falls, dies
bears fruit, it remains but a single seed
and nothing changes.
Until my heart breaks as yours
was broken, it remains alone
emerging into loveless weary haunts,
deserted.
Unless the day wanes,
With dark descending,
No new day breaks revealing
expectation.
Unless I surrender
I remain alone,
as you were orphaned,
a human cell,
a husk,
discarded.
We are the seeds of human value
Virtutis amore,
go to ground
and yield a rich harvest
