Lets move on, softly softly
Walking in melting snow,
Finally finding happiness,
Oh I wish you could see me now,
Contented in my home of peacefulness.
I'm not hurting any more you see,
So don't you feel empty, just feel
Free, like me.It will ease your pain,
That I know for sure,because I don't feel
darkness looming for me no more.
I'm smiling down at you,
Walking with harmony like I
couldn't on the ground of life.
I have to go now, my love,
But don't forget, celebrate my life
With the memories I left you,
Not cover it with tears of anger.!

Hi Tina :) Thank you for taking the time to read my poem and commenting, I appreciate that.
And yes I know what you mean :))
Its strange I am more a happy. smiling person but I seem to only put down loss at the moment, that's why I want to try and portray a hint of a smile in my sad poems and hope they do linger mainly the sentence 'Celebrate my life, with the memories I left you, not cover it in anger'. That would be great for me if I thought just one reader/writer tried to remember that of a loved one or someone that's been lost. Because I know I will want everyone to remember me for my laughs and daily smiles, and what time they had with me, not what they did not.
Getting carried away, lol but i cannot help it with writing, it just seems to continuously pour out my brain, even though some times they are not good lol.
Keep Writing
Keep Smiling :)))

Very powerful prettyrose. read it twice and love the first three stanzas. Think the rhythm in the last stanza doesn't flow so smoothly but the sentiment is awesome. I think we hope that our loved ones will celebrate our life rather than mourning our passing.
All the best

Hi V.C. Willow, sorry its taken a while to reply.
Thank you for your comments and taking the time to read.Especially reading it more than once, I appreciate it that.
I agree there could be other endings, although I normally like to keep my first scribblings lol, I think I may change it to...
With the memories I leave you,
Not cover them with tears of anger.
or With memories I leave you,
Not ones you wised we had.
What do you think.
Keep Smiling:)
