While many around the globe
Welcome in a new year, in their
Own unique way. some celebrating
Ahead of others, a few behind.
And no doudt resite so many
Resolutions in good faith.
That they will/shall not brake.
And yes I will raise a glass of my
Favourite drink, once a year I
Toast a special Cheer. And
Smile to others, while
Wishing them a brighter,
Happier Year ahead for them.
But I know in my heart, all
I truly hope for is, peace for
Us all around the world,
And start to appreciate this planet
We pass through, and not always fight
For a share, which belongs to no one,
Yet all.

I like the sentiments expressed in this piece. So many people make New Years resolutions like 'I'm going to lose weight' but there are alot more important things that we could make resolutions about that would really make a difference to our world.

I am a person who likes to spread laughter and smiles when possible and mainly new years eve, however its got to a state now where if we all dont think about each other and the real things that matter in life, who knows what will happen.
But I try to leave wisdom to the experts :)lol
