The bay is a Welcome mat of
waves, arranging weeds
as cooked spaghetti.
Aside the lake
a noisy graveled road,
car lights unmasking
mosquitoes in the twilight
cottages abandoned during
the week, alive again.
Trees are etched upon
the canvas shore, clouds and
water provide a framing.
