General Welfare Assistance

from the ABC set POETRY - A Passage of Motion 2

I hear the lonely
afternoon
disquieting cries
pleading
on the other end of the phone
silent despair
unable to speak out
at first
feeling so helpless
being unmasked
a proud figure, well dressed
beautiful home
new car in driveway,
sobs her discontent her lack
of fulfillment
her broken marriage,
lost ideals
can’t admit it, but
everything
is coming to an end

You wrote this one from the heart Richard, it must
have been a hard time to cope with all those broken
lives.

It's good to be able to write it down, you have and
I hope it helps.

Jenny.

Yes, Jenny. And yet so many folks encouraged me with their overcoming personal circumstances. Like the middle aged lady who built her home from debris she found at the dump. Her home was liveable and her main wall had three door frames. No indoor plumbing though. Without the ladies in our lives, society would crumble. Peace, Richard LP
