On Green Bay New Brunswick
Clouds inflame
as embers
spark lake’s furthest
side a backdrop
for evening winks
in the morning trawlers
will prowl as
pussycats destination
a haul of cod
a sea gull reunion
proclaiming their share.
Boats await as
corks upon gentle swells
bobbing.
