Herring Cove, Nova Scotia

from the ABC set POETRY - A Passage of Motion 2

Grateful eyes spy
Morning's glory
As shadows release
Their overnight cocoon

Mist now dismissed by
Sun’s early yolk

Squirrels scurry anxious
For breakfast
As crows caw-call
From their lofty spruces

Pastel clouds are
Mushroom shapes
Highlighting water far below

A loon’s calling equals
Fulfillment.

Hello Richard,

I think you've excelled yourself with this poem,
it moved me so much, I almost had tears in my
eyes.

Simply beautiful and thankyou for sharing.

Jenny.

Thank you, Jenny. This is one of my favourite poems. I never try to recapture or emulate any poem I especially like. Each collection of words is a new journey for me, and totally focused on new energy flowing around me. Cheers. Richard LP
