Close down the shadows ‘cause I still have time to live
To follow the nectar path of a wandering honey bee
To trill with the loons on the edge of moonlight’s glow
I am strength and power
With an imagination to plow fields of sorrow
To bring a message of hope
Children play and adults roam
Across my field of vision
As I enter a lullaby of a baby’s kiss
I do not long to visit the days of yesteryear
But only wish to build on dreams yet unattained
And continue to call my wife my own.
