Israeli-Palestinian Conflict

This existing impasse must be broken. It cannot be done militarily, nor diplomatically since both sides will not budge on key issues. Thus an independent state for Palestine may never take place. My suggestion: slice an equivalent portion of Israel in the north-eastern corner, as a full trade for the existing Gaza strip. Thus, it’s territory for territory. Then move the present population of Gaza into the existing and newly built settler-housing. Now move those displaced Israeli settlers into Gaza, which now is an integral part of Israel. A little horse-trading may go a long way.
