When I smile I see God’s face
in the clouds, proud of His Creation
regardless of my faults.
A caterpillar lobs his
legs forward, one scurry at a
time, hoping to
outpace any passing footprints
he’s a far distance from
woods where cousins remain.
Somewhere beyond the silhouette of
pine comes the trill of loons,
escaping into the breath of sky
and I love to dance these moments
within God’s Divine Plan.

Another beautifully written poem.I particularly like
your caterpillar and your dancing moments.

Your encouragement is appreciated, gerardineanne. Mixing a Christian and Secular setting in a poem is a neat challenge, and one I enjoy. Blessings, Richard LP
