On the Mend
Got carried away Jolly Jones did
trying hard not to sneak-attack
another tourist for a bite
any kind of handout
perhaps
a coffee at the local diner
yet hard to imagine him not
working his usual habitat
at the bus stop
rolling eyes
wanting to
attract a little sympathy
hoping they’ll see his floppy
shoes and second hand taste
in clothing
aha
another customer.
