An Original Message
We are like toys in God’s
grand design.
Although mountains
are majestic and missiles
powerful, full of noise
they are nothing but puffs
of muscle
notwithstanding the true
authority on this land.
Through prayers
and caring for mankind
we can rekindle the original
message of love
and true forgiveness.

Thank you, Beeme. Very kind of you to welcome me back. My wife and I had a great two weeks visiting our only daughter, Susan who lives with her family on a farm near Edmonton, Alberta. While there, we celebrated her 50th birthday, as well as mine and Esther's. Our three birthdays are all within one month, so one cake did for the three of us. Had a great visit, but glad to be back in Nova Scotia. The above poem was completed today. Writing is great fun. All the best, from Esther and Richard.
