The sun grew red
in evening sky
my blood-stained friend
was sad awhile.
We sought refuge
from passioned rays
that searched with arms
so tired and alone.
My love and I
we ran to the fields.
We lay and made love
we dreamed and found peace.

Hi Richard,
this was a tender loving read, I can see from the
date you must have been young when you wrote it,
so the talant has always been with you, that's
wonderful.
Thankyou for the read.
Jenny.

Hello again, Jenny. Yes that poem identified the early passion I had to let out through words and phrases. Imagine, those were the days when young males did not tell too many people they wrote poetry. Yeck. My wife, Esther, and others like yourself are my biggest boosters. Writing is fun. Why not check out our website--- www.wsprog.com/rp/ and try all the buttons. There are numerous free downloads, and we'll send you a free copy of any of the e-books for sale too, if you wish. Cheers, from Richard and Esther.
