I want to make the
wind wobble
to watch it squirm
from where
I sit
whistling and whoosing
sounds resonating.
I want to capture
its essence
to feel the magic
against my face
warm at times
each season
competing for my
attention.
I want to chew into
the meat
like a mouthful
of peanuts
savouring
tasting
scent teasing from
the wind I call
upon.

Wow, I've been missing some great work whilst I was away from visiting this website ;-)
Another beautiful poem, Richard, you obviously have a deep connection to nature ;-)
A well deserved cherry.
Nathan.

Hi Nathan, better late than never for thanking you for your nice comments. For some reason I am not being notified by ABC when any comments are made on my work. So I have to peruse them from time to time. Cheers, from Richard LP
