to Dare to be Joyous

To find inspiration in the mundane,
and order in the seemingly insane,
to dare to be wild and playful,
to refuse conformity's relentless pull,
to listen to my higher self though it leaves me confused,
to be generous and take the chance of being used,
to take time for the literal birds and bees,
to hunt down elusive epiphanies
that oft leave only scant abstract trace...

this is the challenge I these days face
