mixed blessings

acid rain
and perfect pesticide raspberries,
the needed medicines
that disturb the body so

hard day's night
and hard night's day,
cold wind blowing
though it's now mid May

I wish things were better;
but what can I say?

nice aliteration: although i read somewhere that you should break it up with a word or two. However i tend to shove the rules under the rug. :)

yeah, I agree about rules and the rug, especially when the rule is just a contemporary fad. With a degree in Literature, I'm aware of an ancient tradition of direct alliteration, one of the great poetic devices like literary referencing and alternating rhyme(though these are all options, not requirements for great poetry.) <]:- )
