Oh, you hard-hearted yankees,
you world-wealthy with your aristocratic pride:
you make me cry
You wicked Waltons, McCains and Stalins:
when will you "find Jesus" for real,
finally listen to Lennon, Trotsky
Donovan, Bob Dylan, and Lenin?
This road of nationalism and militarization,
teaching children to wear uniforms and badges
and worship this or that flag:
it's all a very bad bag
You can fill the skies
with more war-birds than seagulls,
train more Goebbels to rant your lies:
you can take me to Guantanamo
and torture me till I recant
But you can't "win the war:"
decency and humanity
friendship between a Jew and a Palestinian
the charitably given meal
will prove stronger than
all your war-heads and steel...
No, no, you can't "win the war:"
the best you could ever do
is drag us ALL down with your gore
and turn fertile Oregon, Mesopotamia,
Syria, Kenya, France and Russia
into a world-wide wasteland and morgue

¡Ojala que si!
Ich wünsche, dass es so wäre!
Желаю что так было!
I wish it were so!
Don't usuallly like this kind of thing, but this is a finely expressed and heartfelt sentiment. I enjoyed the second stanza - particularly 'Lennon' to 'Lenin'. Btw it's 'Goebbels'.

PS Biggus won't like it :-)
