We ran around like children
We even had the fights,
and in the quieter moments
I told you of my life
You broke my heart so slowly
and all the time I knew,
A hundred little fractures
resilient to glue
Now I'm in recovery
just hairline cracks to show,
in fear that if I see you
my fragile heart will fail

Hello Shoe.
I really liked this and I thought it would be great to finish off the rhyme.
I'm sorry but I couldn't do it -
I lost the heart of it...
but I thought perhaps it might amuse you.
We ran around like children
We fought like man and wife
and in the quieter moments
I told you of my life
You broke my heart so slowly
and all the time I knew,
A hundred little fractures
resilient to glue
Now I'm in recovery
in fear that you will know
in fear that if I see you that
the hairline cracks will show.

Nice,
Now I'm in recovery,
But fear that you will know,
The moment that you see me
The hairline cracks will show.
