At least
You passed
Through my life
And I enjoyed
The privilege
Of holding your loveliness

Of wiping away
A few of your tears
At least
We toured
Site after site
I see you with your Kodak
The waterfall’s mist
Just over your head,
Red ferns
Lilting at your feet
At least
We got
A fair warning
Of our sure, impending doom
We then
Made the most
Of two lovers’ fading days
Before we were touched
By the ghost.

This is simple, beautiful and quite sad. I particularly liked the line:

very poignant, very moving. I like the reference to the Kodak, the gathering of memories which was observed so closely and which has now become a memory. Margot
