My Gravestone Says

My gravestone says she lived and died
It gives out months and days
It also says she was the beloved
Wife of one John Hayes.
It doesn't say she had a kid
Though many know she did
It doesn't say she had a hand
In everything John planned.
My gravestone says she lived and died
Ignores that she laughed and cried.
I think if I could modify it some
I'd have them throw in my green thumb!
