Dark Star

Dark Star

The self imploding stature
Of unnecessary rage
Will only present itself at night
Meaning most of us won’t see it
Until after the smoke

Amongst the foreign bodies
That permeates our sky
Exists a pointless struggle
Of a fight that can’t be won
When there appears to be no enemy

The sparkles from the debris
Seem so innocent to me
Like silver winged wishes
strike lightening across the moon
Writing things you cannot read

The massacre of thin air
The annihilation of the invisible
Everything is nothing
According to the eyes that cannot see
So I guess nothing matters

To me.
