Robots Politicians & Strangers

Robots Politicians & Strangers

I never consented to a life so demented
With aliens tormenting my soul
I gave neither permission nor limp submission
To my world being in the control

Of robots politicians and strangers

The insistence of destroying resistance
As we line up ready for cooking
No repercussions or challenging discussions
Some were taken whilst not looking

By robots politicians and strangers

The prophets of profit who never come off it
Use all of us up as your fuel
We’re not artificial but passive sacrificial
We are kind for those who are cruel

Like robots politicians and strangers

Surely nine until five is barely alive
The clock’s time does not steal
Why are we ruled by those who are schooled
to misrepresent how we feel

we are not robots politicians or strangers
we are not subjects to be quietly suppressed
we are aware of your likeness for changes
and your desire to keep us oppressed

But there'sa difference between living and obeying
What you have to offer is not what we need
And no amount of duplicity or praying
Can ever make you part of our creed
