And so they walked...

And so they walked together into the mouth of death itself, like the family that fate had forbidden them to live as.

Then I choose to die and be with you forever.

Slowly the shadows began to engulf them, covering their bodies but their eyes could still see. Holding their arms outstretched, hands linked together which would never part, moulding each other’s form, cementing a bond of love that even darkness could not break.

And that is how they remained, hands locked, fingers entwined, eyes forever seeing the light in the darkness, walking without fear through death and mystery.

Forever an adventure, forever unafraid, forever walking nowhere with a family of my own.
