She fired a gun into the sky,
Her trains of thought now multiply,
From four to six and six to eight,
They teach each other to replicate.
Her eyes like silk betray her heart,
As she lies there worlds apart.
She stands to form the perfect stance,
So souls of flame teach her to dance.
Metaphors and paradigms
Lie at her feet all greyed with time.
Just shells of words that they once were
Lies and tales, and nothing more.
She dreams of clouds, a silver moon,
'til darkness comes, and nightmares loom,
She fired a gun into the sky
Where shadows creep, and nightmares lie.
