Jack and Molly (IP)

from the ABC set Stories

“Here, Molly!”, said Jack, “Here, Molly!”.

Molly, an old gold coloured labrador, padded into the living room, panting.

“Sit Molly! Sit!”, said Jack.

Obediently, the well trained dog sat on the carpet.

“Roll over, molly! Roll over!”, said Jack.

Molly rolled over as she was instructed.

“Kill, Molly, kill!”, ordered Jack.

Bearing her teeth, Molly growled and then the grey cat took its paw out of Jack’s cage and beat a hasty retreat out through the living room door.

“Good girl, Molly”, said the Budgerigar, “Good girl”.

Hi well-wisher,

this is a very clever story for the IP, like the
idea of the talking budgie.

Thanks for the read.

Jenny.

Thanks, Jenny. Apparently, Budgies are very clever.

According to Wikipedia:

"A budgerigar named Puck holds the world record for the largest vocabulary of any bird, at 1,728 words"
