Silhouettes of trees,
against a blazing amber sky;
snowflakes gently fall,
in dreaming wings of Butterfly.
Yet on those fragile, flame like wings;
this blessing , its bold beauty, brings;
braving two hundred blustery miles,
all to deliver us
a smile.

Love that second stanza, well-wisher. I went to a butterfly house with my little cousin a few days ago - they really are beautiful creatures!

Thanks, Tina. I always smile with delight when I see
butterflies in my garden and I like to celebrate all those things that brighten up the world.

Thanks, Magic.
I'm always inspired by those creatures that make epic
journeys across the world and The Monarch butterfly
migrates for hundreds of miles in spite of being a little delicate butterfly.
I tried to describe its wings in the first stanza but you'd really have to see a picture of it to know how accurate my description is.
