1st Verse:
Sun bursting through the clouds;
there is my heart.
Dawn birds singing aloud;
there is my heart.
Kids laughing down the lane;
there is my heart.
High flying aeroplane;
there is my heart.
Chorus:
There is my heart
and my soul.
They’re just a part
of this whole
great beautiful…
There is my heart
and my soul.
They’re just a part
of this whole
wide wonderful
world.
2nd Verse:
A bright and cheerful place;
there is my heart.
A warm, loving embrace;
there is my heart.
Bright blossoms in the trees;
there is my heart.
Kite soaring on the breeze;
there is my heart.
Chorus:
There is my heart
and my soul.
They’re just a part
of this whole
great beautiful…
There is my heart
and my soul.
They’re just a part
of this whole
wide wonderful
world.
3rd Verse:
Sweet music fills the air;
there is my heart.
Sun on your silken hair;
there is my heart.
Star shining bright above;
there is my heart.
These moments of our love;
there is my heart.
Chorus:
There is my heart
and my soul.
They’re just a part
of this whole
great beautiful…
There is my heart
and my soul.
They’re just a part
of this whole
wide wonderful
world.

I wonder who you had in mind to sing this? I can think of a few. I would have picked just "birds" and not songbirds in the first stanza.A good love song well-wisher. I am a big fan of your writing as you can gather! ;D

Umm..it's an old fashioned song and I can only think of old fashioned singers..America..Todd Rundgren...
Jefferson Starship (not Airplane) but I'm not sure.
I have changed it from 'Song' birds to 'Dawn' birds.
"Birds" alone wouldn't have scanned, I don't think.
Thankyou for your nice comments. Knowing that I have a fan puts me under alot of pressure though. I hope that my future writing doesn't disappoint.
