Lost source

from the ABC set Yutka's poems

I am not dead. I fell asleep.

I walked through shadows and valleys.

I reached the sea and swam along

strange creatures in undersea alleys,

until a breeze blew me ashore

and I awoke in the sunlight

of a new world and the clothes I wore

had dissolved and I felt alright

but for floods of tears that were rising fast

threatening to drown me in sorrow,

till I lifted my wings and I flew up high

to no time, to no past or tomorrow.

I saw spirits afloat, among stars, among suns

and something held all together.

I felt a great love. I had come home

to my lost source in the ether.

This poem had a soft spititual meaning to me and essences of a poem that i have written in one of my many journals. I really enjoyd it and the words really spoke to me (deep but true)
