My stories

mosaics

In my chest burns a void I try to fill with pleasures But it remains, longing for That what we could never forge You gave me life Kept me safe and warm

A poem for my mum

It hurts To see your pain I pray almost every day For God to take it away Red liquid running in and out of your body For hours every other day An appointment you dread, but necessary

our mark

I carved my name into a tree You carved yours equally Raw edges sliced into moss-strewn bark Prettily etched,we left our mark Matched with a date For remembrances sake

Like elves tending trees

The world is our garden To create or destroy To grow seeds strong and open Or neglect from all joy The garden shouts for pleasure Not pressure or restriction Love and freedom are its nature

starling

Its now when your not here that I've been pacing the courtyard of my own fears and I long to stand in crowds and listen to their noise and rows coz theirs no peace in my own silence
