I have known have died
The girl with very long hair at school
died in Florida
in the Easter break
age 15
I remember her but not very well
An old boyfriend
died of cancer in the Caymans
quipping about "last suppers"
puffing and drinking to the last
He always burnt every candle
But there is one who just haunts me
she actually was a Princess
she fled a nasty regime
who probably killed her
I knew her a little at school
lost in London , lost in life
in death they tried to lose her too
she had an unmarked grave in Paris
to begin with
But she still lives on the Internet
her image lives
her photography lives
in all its rebellious and very odd beauty
