Phrases orphaned and read

cramming inside my head

conversations of sounds

drowning, clowning around

silence of the heart

dual rhythm apart

dreadnought over grey

dry gasps in my past

resonate and trickle port

lives no longer strive

snatches of the day dive

tidal landscape of scraps

an arm, a leg, a heart

splashes, groans, sighs

wild life becomes why

ghostly song of grey seals

wading birds cry in the wind

hands grow white

grasping the wet sand

'tidal landscape of scraps' Indeed. Horrific. I love your poem. Conveys the torment and it's beautiful in a way I can't explain without sounding odd considering the human loss. There's beauty in your language. That's what I mean.

thanks vera and littlebit. I acutally forgot I wrote this. I guess that photo of the wee boy in the sand, like the one in MyLi, of a little girl burning in Vietnam, makes you think, just a splurge of sound, on paper, no real sense. What makes me mad are those hypocrites that say we shouldn't pick up refugees. Let them drown. My solution would be to put there family out to sea on a dingy. Not sure if it would work. Just a rant. Thanks for reading.

I guess my first cousins' suffered inglorious defeat. Meanwhile my defeat was somewhat inbred. If not glorious not surprising either. Meanwhile, you have not let me down once. You are so very talented that defeat is not an option....carry on!

yep, very fast noo, everything but the kitchen sink goes into the blender, but I guess that's writing. I couldn't remember what I called it. So it was a surprise when I got an email commenting on...

I take it you want to be drawn in slowly and with purpose. I'm pretty sure, I'm willing to give anticipation a try. I have my hopes set on a tempered hero or heroine. One you might like to get to know...better
