inspiration point - poem?

from the ABC set Some call it Poetry

Softly they fall,
gentle and silent
Petals of winter’s white rose,
Hard edges fade and blur

Trees shiver in frigid slumber
Quick-flick, warily she darts
Stop-start, stop-start
Eyes not seen but felt

Stop-start, stop-start
Fear falls with the black arrow
This way and that
Faster, faster

Heart hammering, legs pumping
Bloody demise descends
Talons outstretched… Then silence.
The dark stain of life’s harsh red rose.
