It's time, I think,
to take the Wilky route.
Time for rhyme to
take this, the backward step.
I think it's time
to read, not write; rather
think and blink at
writing better than mine.
Time, I think; it's
very shaming to feel:
I have pride which
shames me into silence.

I feel the same way lately. I'm fed up with my own words. Of course a nice publishing offer might help me see things differently.

I think that the more I read, the more I am inspired to write, which is why I love this site - see, even in the anguish of feeling like that, you can write of it!
A very good point made - so go read! (my poems!) hehe!

Yet another poet that tortures himself with pride/shame interplay. I bet you didn't touch my food. You know when sensing is forbidden, betting is imperative.

What's a Wilky route?

Stop writing.

You are naive Ewan. That's why I like you. OW, I wouldn't have.

Better than being cynical, I find it gives me less heartburn.
